Blood Drive Success!

The Highland Park Public Library Community Blood Drive, conducted by New Jersey Blood Services, collected 44 units of blood for area hospital patients. Residents from the age of 17 to well into their 70’s turned out to help people with serious medical conditions. Highland Park High School seniors Migdalia Quesada and Claudia May helped to get the word out on Facebook to their fellow classmates and turned many juniors and seniors into first time blood donors.
